From Software and Namco working on Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn for PS3

Dark Souls developer From Software has teamed up with Namco Bandai to develop a new Gundam title for the PlayStation 3, based off the first three episodes of Unicorn.

That’s according to what few details have leaked from Japanese mag Famitsu, which learnt of the project this week. There’ll be chapters for Banagher, Marida and Frontal.

Those names are characters, it seems. It’ll have a simplistic control scheme and most of the mecha in episodes one to three will feature in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.

From Software creator the super unforgiving RPG Demon’s Souls and the spiritual successor Dark Souls, where death of the player is common place. It will release exclusively on PS3 in spring 2012.
