Hard at work even after the timely release of Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, news broke a few days ago that THQ Nordic recently closed a deal to snap up more games for their catalogue. Thanking their fans for bringing certain games to their attention, they've grabbed a couple of titles to add to the military image given off by October's NovaLogic deal with titles like War Leaders: Clash of Nations and Legends of War.
Want to see what the NovaLogic buyout gained THQ Nordic? Look no further.
The first two games, however, reflect THQ Nordic's increased interest in snapping up older titles. Following the acquisition of the entire NovaLogic library back in October, the deal between the company and Enigma Software Productions means they've added two new strategy titles to their portfolio. Both more than 6 years old at present. What exactly THQ Nordic plan to do with these titles is anyone's guide. If IP rights are transferred, we could see them carry on the lines of these titles by developing their own. Maybe they'll just re-release the titles as a compilation. Or, perhaps, they'll do nothing at all. We just don't know.
