TERA Looks Much Darker With Guild Wars Looming Overhead

Re-doing its peculiar guild and government system, Gameforge and Bluehole are introducing a little more plight to TERA's lush green fields. The newest update to the active-battle MMORPG sees player guilds brawl against each other on the fields they once protected. Every Saturday between 8-10pm players can duke it out alongside their own in a bid to become the last group standing with a tower still on the field, awarding the winning troupe the collected player taxes of the past week with a draw causing the cash to roll over to the next. It's like a bloodier version of the National Lottery!

Alongside the Last Guild Standing, the guild system as a whole sees daily quests and a special skill tree added presumably to aid the great battles happening in the field each week. The update is already live, and TERA can be grabbed for free here.
