Iceberg Interactive has announced Antigraviator, a futuristic high-speed racing game in the style of F-Zero or WipeOut - two popular series that have not had a new release in over 5 years. This game will be Iceberg's first simultaneous multiplatform release, and they're promising that it'll be the "fastest anti-gravity racing game ever made".

Antigraviator is being developed by Belgian developer Cybernetic Walrus, and it'll be their first game. The futuristic racer will contain traps, power-ups, the ability to customize your racer, online and local split-screen multiplayer, three game modes and 12 tracks. If you watch the trailer (below) it's clearly in the style of classic futuristic racing games such as Nintendo's F-Zero and Sony's WipeOut, but as WipeOut's last new game was in 2012 and F-Zero's was in 2004 there's clearly room for a new team to have a go at this type of racer. Here's the Key Features of Antigraviator, from the Press Release:
-
● No speed limit!
● Play the single player campaign to unlock new parts, ships and skins
● Race your friends with local split-screen multiplayer for up to 4 players
● Race anybody in online multiplayer mode with rankings and leaderboards
● Use environmental traps to overtake your opponents
● Power-ups and boosts allow you to become top of the track
● Ship customization gives you an edge over the opposition
● Four beautifully created sci-fi worlds with three dynamic courses each
● Stunning realistic 3D graphics powered by Unity
● Soundtrack featuring 12 intense tracks that will enhance your racing experience
