People take offence from anything these days. If a mobile game landing on Steam is cause for concern to you, look away now. But Royal Offense isn't here to cause offence. Releasing onto Steam in mere hours (or 10) Royal Offense is a simplistic looking indie strategy game that marks solid use of classic pixel graphics as a call-back to the good old days.
Sudden Strike 4 Slots Itself In For An August 11 Release
Being originally released on Android and properly supporting Android-based consoles like the Nvidia Shield or the ill-fated OUYA, Royal Offense is good to go when it comes to controllers. Sure, many PC-based warlords might scoff at the thought of using a controller for a strategy game, but it's designed with that in mind. Keyboard shortcuts and full mouse support are still available, of course. Being a mobile game at heart, it isn't going to take super-computer to run this one; and it's perfectly suited for a bit of classic couch co-op.
