Green Man Gaming have been in the publishing business for a little while now. They're not widely know for it, but they're always reaching out a helping hand to those who're in need of a business push or those even thinking about the logistics of developing a video game in the future. Their next soul has been saved - and it's a game about saving souls. It's Stormworks: Build and Rescue. No, it's not some surreal, supernatural horror game or an angel going on a quest for redemption - it's about the rescue services we all hope we'll never need but are certainly glad to have.

Land vehicles or flying machines are all part of the rescue effort, and if building a four-wheeled ride proves too tricky, what could go wrong with a rescue chopper? Hack, if you're a master of balance, you could likely turn a car into something capable of fishing a drowning man from the stormy seas. It's all procedurally generated, so even mastering the art of the craft won't mean a walk in the park. Flying in a straight line isn't the same as flying through sharp canyons. Stormworks: Build and Rescue is set to test your engineering prowess when it launches into Early Access later this year. Speaking of the announcement, lead developer Dan Walters said "Stormworks: Search and Rescue is a game designed to challenge the creative side of your brain". If you already think you're doomed, you're likely right.
