Wardogs doesn't offer a typical campaign mode. Instead, it's launching with three maps (with a fourth slated as post-launch content), each with three variations, and one overall game mode. The only confirmed maps so far are Bakurani and Ozeti; the former houses a factory district surrounded by Eastern European mountains, whereas the latter is set in Western Europe and includes a football stadium. Both are available to play in Closed Beta tests.
Here's everything else Bulkhead has confirmed about the maps/central gameplay:
- Maps are 256 km² in size.
- The main game mode is a variation of King of the Hill, where teams must capture strategic points in a randomized 2x2km Control Zone.
- Each map also has a smaller, moving Hot Zone, which rewards teamplay actions with double cash. The Hot Zone can also be directed towards towers, once these are captured.
