Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 launches August 25, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The new third-person shooter is the sequel to 2021's Aliens: Fireteam Elite, once again developed by Cold Iron Studios and published by Daybreak Game Company.
We also know a Nintendo Switch 2 port is arriving in late 2026, but we have no specific release window.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is getting physical and digital versions, and it's coming with two different editions:
- Digital Standard Edition - $49.99 (regional pricing may vary)
- 40th Anniversary Premium Edition - $69.99
The 40th Anniversary Premium Edition includes the base game and the Ripley's Hive Exterminator and Herk Mondo's Pest DLC packs, which draw from the larger Alien universe for cosmetics and custom weapons. The DLC content is also available on August 25 as a $19.99 Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 - 40th Anniversary Premium Edition Upgrade for players who purchased the Digital Standard Edition.
